The list of items, known as "targets", which you are allowed to scan, is known as your account's target scope.
A target can be a web application or API, defined by a URL, or an item of infrastructure defined by an IP address/FQDN. The number of such items you can have in your Account Scope is dictated by your AppCheck license (and can be increased by contacting your account manager).
To see your current scope, click Target Scope in the main menu of the AppCheck portal:
Here you can see your scope for each different type of target (Web Application, API and Infrastructure).
To add new items, click Add Scope, then follow the wizard.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I remove items from my scope as well?
After 1 year of the target being in your scope, it can be refreshed and replaced with another target. Until that point, it cannot be removed.
Who can add targets to my scope?
This feature is restricted to admins; those with the 'user' permission cannot add items to scope.
What happens if I need to add targets to my account, but I've reached my limit?
Contact your account manager who will be happy to provide you with further support.
