An AppCheck Private Scan hub can be run in any cloud platform that supports standard Linux Virtual Machines (VMs). However, the process for installing the hub may be unique to the platform you are using. In situations where your environment necessitates diverging from the Private Scan Hub Setup Guide you may need to seek assistance from the provider of your platform. AppCheck cannot maintain bespoke instructions for all 3rd party platforms.
AppCheck provides a dedicated image in Microsoft's Azure marketplace for use on that platform. For instructions on setting up a hub in Azure see Deploying an AppCheck Private Scan Hub in Microsoft Azure.
As with local installations, you will need to consider the network environment your hub will be running in in the cloud. Make sure it has network access both to AppCheck's servers (as detailed in the setup guide) and to any servers and applications you wish to scan.
Finally, there may be security systems provided as part of the cloud platform that function like firewalls or WAFs. You will need to ensure that these services are set to ignore all traffic between the scan hub and AppCheck, and between the scan hub and the scan targets.
